Project Description
This ‘Park Hill Industrial Reboot’ involved redesigning the living room fireplace, adding a built-in dry bar, and revising the laundry space for greater function.
The Challenge:
Our client wanted to modernize and make sense of the existing fireplace’s short stature. To further elevate the living space and add entertainment value, they had interest in installing a brand new, built-in dry bar. Our client also desired greater storage in their laundry room, a challenge given its small footprint.
What We Did:
House Meraki achieved a cohesive look by adding a mantel above the textured fireplace, reconstructing the built-in storage unit, and maintaining the client’s media cabinet. Next to the living room, the framed-out dry bar fit seamlessly given its drywall arch and mounted light fixture. Lastly, we extended the laundry space by joining it with the former adjacent linen cabinet. This allowed us to add built-in storage to both sides of the room, maximizing function.
