Scope of Work:

This ‘Golden Global Getaway’ involved reviewing and redlining the entire home’s new build plans, then specifying materials and fixtures. Interior and exterior furniture space planning and sourcing was also part of the scope, as was project management.

The Challenge:
Our client started with a cookie-cutter plan from a modular builder, but desired a custom home — specifically, one that met the needs of their growing family. Their daughter was born during construction and anticipating her needs was a must. In addition, our client wanted to incorporate their collections from various travels.

What We Did:
House Meraki revised the given floor plans to accommodate our client’s requests and improve everyday function. Given their new, family-driven lifestyle, we prioritized storage, the needs of growing children, and defining entertaining vs. personal zones within the home. We also captured our client’s passion for travel by beautifully displaying their trinkets and art from abroad. These efforts resulted in a unique, intimate home that appears to have been carefully curated over many years, rather than just a few months.
